Best grip I've ever used
Reviewed By:
Gareth (Winnipeg, Canada)
Started with the Lamkin Crossline tour grip, nice traction but due to softness felt like was twisting/tourqing in my hands. Put the ocs on my driver, and at the range in gail force winds was hitting high faces and low draws. Driver must have gone 250 into the wind, 285 290 easy minus no wind.

My new favorite grip!

I regripped my 8i, 9i, and PW as a test and played about 3 rounds with them. The texture and firmness is excellent. It doesn't feel like any other grip I've tried. Installation was actually easier than the Crosslines or the Golf Pride Tour Velvets. Excellent with or without a glove and moisture (sweaty palms) didn't affect playability. I think it handles vibration slightly better than the Crosslines. I'm defintely purchasing more to regrip the rest of my irons.

New Lamkin/Michelin grip a winner

I have used Lamkin Crossline grips for years on my Hogan Apex clubs. I do not use a glove so traction and feel are important to me. Also using a muscleback design comfort on less than perfect contact is important to me. Like others have said, this is my "new favorite grip." It is just firm enough to be comfortable and not so firm it feels like an effort is needed to maintain contact. It stays in touch with you throughout the swing and has a vibration dampening quality. If you are a gloveless golfer, try it for yourself.
